Expo finds new home

Prairieland purchases the Saskatoon portion of the Saskatchewan Entertainment Expo

The owners of the Saskatchewan Entertainment Expo announced Thursday (to previous vendors), they are selling the Saskatoon stop of the comic, entertainment and pop-culture inspired event to Saskatoon Prairieland Park Corporation.

After eight years of building the event, owners Mike Fisher and Chris Bernhard wanted to grow the event beyond what their current resources would allow.

The event will be held at the World Trade Center Saskatoon at Prairieland Park September 11, 12 & 13, 2020. For this next year, Chris Bernhard and Mike Fisher, will be actively supporting Prairieland Park to transition the event and its details to our Special Events Department.

The event will be expanded to include Friday evening, it will get a name change to the Saskatoon Entertainment Expo and will move to April in 2021.

The Special Events Department at Prairieland also owns and produces the Saskatchewan Blue Cross Gardenscape, The Saskatoon EX, and the Small Business Christmas Parties – along with co-producing a number of cabarets and other Signature Events.
