Trevor Lerner

Trevor was born in Saskatchewan and raised for most of his life in Saskatoon. That’s right…a LOCAL BOY !! He wanted to be an actor since he was 4 years old and saw Star Wars for the first time in 1977.

Trevor studied acting at the Drama Dept at the U of S under the instruction of many talented Professors including the majestic and legendary Henry Woolf , and performed in several plays on the stage at the Greystone Theatre and the original happily haunted Hangar Building. In 1999, his love of Star Wars had him sell everything he owned and quit his amazing job at Family Video to move to Australia to try and get a role in Star Wars Episode II Attack of the Clones. This is a fantastic story to hear first hand!

In 2009, Trevor almost died from a severe hospital infection that completely changed his life forever and a few years later he made the decision to pursue acting full-time and booked his first major role in a Lifetime movie called Far From Home (2014). He is best known for his role as Bert on the Netflix series Virgin River (2019-2024) and several starring roles in the Hallmark Christmas movies Holiday Road (2023) and most recently The Santa Class (2024).

Trevor is excited to share his journey from Saskatoon to the Hollywood North in Vancouver and beyond!
